About Snap-8
Snap-8 (acetyl octapeptide-3) is a synthetic eight-residue peptide, Ac-Glu-Glu-Met-Gln-Arg-Arg-Ala-Asp-NH₂, modeled on the N-terminal end of the SNAP-25 protein.
It is an extended analog of acetyl hexapeptide-3 and is used to study competition with SNAP-25 in SNARE complex assembly, and in cosmetic-science formulation research.

Store sealed vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light and moisture. For extended storage, −20 °C is standard practice for lyophilized peptides. Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Handle all research materials using appropriate laboratory practices and personal protective equipment, in line with your institution’s safety procedures. Keep out of reach of children.
Each container is printed with a lot number (CRL-SNP-10-0915). The Certificate of Analysis for each lot reports HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity results.
