About BPC-157
BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide with the sequence Gly-Glu-Pro-Pro-Pro-Gly-Lys-Pro-Ala-Asp-Asp-Ala-Gly-Leu-Val. Its sequence corresponds to a partial fragment of a larger protein originally identified in gastric juice.
Compared with many short linear peptides, BPC-157 is reported to be relatively stable in aqueous solution, which has made it a frequent subject of preclinical and in vitro investigation.
Published laboratory work has examined its interactions with growth-factor and nitric-oxide signaling pathways in cell and animal models.
Common research areas
- Cell migration and angiogenesis assays
- Growth-factor receptor signaling (e.g. VEGFR2)
- Nitric-oxide pathway studies
- Short-peptide aqueous stability

Store sealed vials refrigerated at 2–8 °C, protected from light and moisture. For extended storage, −20 °C is standard practice for lyophilized peptides. Allow vials to reach room temperature before opening to limit condensation, and avoid repeated freeze–thaw cycles.
Handle all research materials using appropriate laboratory practices and personal protective equipment, in line with your institution’s safety procedures. Keep out of reach of children.
Each container is printed with a lot number (CRL-BPC-10-0915). The Certificate of Analysis for each lot reports HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity results.
